Dorset Freemasonry Charitable Distributions 2015 – The values of Freemasonry are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. #Freemasons are taught to practice charity and to care, not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole – both by charitable giving, and by voluntary efforts and works as individuals.
Of our contributions to Charity, over three-quarters of them were to Non-Masonic Causes and 78% of those were to Local Charities.
One of the #Charities we supported in 2015 was the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust. The Trust provides valuable palliative care to patients and supports their families through the difficult times as loved ones near the end of their life, both in their own homes and in the Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester.
