Promoting the Fraternity across the World
Two members of Red Triangle Chapter No 3874 were delighted to present a cheque for £200 as a donation to Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool. The chapter members are all very much aware of the tremendous work that the hospice does for babies and wanted to support their endeavours.
Doug Holgate installed his successor at Anfield Lodge No 2215, which meets at Woolton Golf Club, in November 2017, and Doug and his wife Brenda have had a very enjoyable year. Zoë’s Place was founded by Professor Jack Scarisbrick and became a reality in February 1995. The first hospice was opened in Liverpool after raising the necessary funds and finding suitable premises. Its opening signified the beginning of a unique and much needed service. Zoë’s Place provides a home-from-home environment for the respite and palliative care of babies from ages 0-5 with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions.
