Broken Column Event

Manchester Masons played host to a gathering of their widows and companions for the annual Broken Column Dinner

The ladies were greeted by the District Chairmen and various District Officers for Manchester. They enjoyed a wine reception before moving through for dinner.

WBro Chris Welton the Assistant Provincial Grand Master for Manchester said, he was sure that all the ladies and their companions would have an enjoyable evening and in closing he proposed their health.

‘The Charleston Charlies’ provided the evening entertainment.  Playing popular hits from the roaring 1920’s, quirky original and cheerful music.

All the ladies left the hall with a small gift and in a happy mood having had a lovely evening and looking forward to next year’s event, which will take place on, Monday 24 April 2017.
