Normoss Round Table Lodge No 8741 enjoyed a fabulous Christmas Sunday lunch at Cleveleys Masonic Hall recently. After dinner entertainment was provided by Hugh Mett, who sang several Christmas classics and told a few jokes of the Christmas cracker variety.
Uniquely the lodge had decided to ask guests to bring a couple of wrapped presents each and over 80 were donated in total. These were later taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital Children’s A and E department, and any child who is admitted over the Christmas period will receive one of these gifts.
Lodge members met with hospital staff who thanked them for their generosity.
