Harlow Foodbank, that has been dedicated to helping families in crisis for more than ten years, has received a £1,000 donation from local Freemasons to help fund their vital work across West Essex.
Harlow Lodge secured a grant of £1,500 to enable Disability Action Yorkshire to purchase six laptop computers, which are being used by learners at its Hornbeam Park headquarters and training centre.
The Old Pocklingtonian Lodge of Freemasons has managed to raise and donate money to the Ebor Vale Group of Riding for the Disabled during the coronavirus lockdown.
The programme supports carers by helping them build new friendships and connections within their own community, through befriending calls, developing online skills, and helping carers to connect virtually so that they can learn to join online community groups and activities, as well as learning to do essential shopping and banking.
