Alfred Lodge's Master, W.Bro. David Wright, accompanied by the IPM, W.Bro. Bob Greenwell, packed their passports and travelled west to the Wilds of Witney to present a cheque for £700 to the Oxfordshire Prostate Cancer Support Group which had a stand at the Witney Carnival.
The donation is from Alfred's 100 Club where half the income per month goes out as prizes with the other half being allocated to nominated charities.
In the past it has supported the 2011 Festival and the Lodge's own Bicentennial Celebrations held in 2014.
Although the 100 Club currently has fewer than 30 participants it still raises in the order of £750 to be donated to chosen charities.
Alfred's Charity Steward, W.Bro. Tom Edwards, who is keen to increase the number of 100 Club members, says it is open to all and would be very pleased to provide details to anyone wishing to join!
