The Provincial Grand Lodge of Worcestershire’s Library and Museum is holding an Exhibition entitled “Freemasonry Unwrapped” at Worcester Guildhall between 24th July and 5th August as part of the Masonic Tercentenary celebrations.
Members of Olicana Chapter, which meets in Ilkey, secured £1,500 towards new kitchen units for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association’s Grassington headquarters.
On Tuesday 15th December members of the Caledonia Lodge number 68 made a donation of approximately 1000 euros worth of food to the Social Services department of the Rojales town hall. The money was raised by members of the Lodge and will be distributed to needy families in time for Christmas. The money was presented by Worshipful Brother David Turner, Master of the Lodge, with other Lodge members in attendance to town mayor Sr Antonio Peréz.
The Devon & Cornwall Food Association (DCFA) is a charity reflecting the need to link food waste with food poverty and they were visited by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire V. W. Bro. Nicholas Ball where he met up with Jackie Young their manager, along with some of the volunteers who help run this invaluable organisation and presented them with a certificate to recognise their hard work and dedication.
The guest speaker for the evening was Bro George Kelly, Past Substitute Grand Master, Past Provincial Grand Master (Lanarkshire Middle Ward).
