Whangarei to celebrate 100 years of service by identical twin brothers, Bruce and Bryan Wiig. Originally from Bluff, both men were initiated into Freemasonry on the 15th July 1967 in Lodge Fortitude No 64. Over the years they have both moved away with Bruce now living in Auckland with wife Carol and Bryan in Whangarei with wife Marie.

As part of the Tercentenary celebrations the Provincial Grand Lodge of Cumberland and Westmorland is delighted to host One of the world’s most versatile and best-loved singing ensembles which has toured the world, performing an evocative repertory from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary arrangements. This event is open to members of the general public.

Open to Masons of all ranks, the Federation Lodge meeting commences at 16:00, Plans for the Daggards W Bros Eddie Wildman and Ean Blair to perform Festive Board Entertainment, a light-hearted look at the historical and present day music used when Lodge Meetings are concluded and the eating and drinking begins

The awards totalled £25,000 Two hundred people were present at the awards ceremony including HM Lord Lieutenant for Derbyshire, Mr William Tucker, the High Sheriff, Mrs Annie Hall, the Deputy Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, RW Bro. Jonathan Spence and the Provincial Grand Master for Derbyshire, RW Bro. Steven Varley, together with civic leaders, charity workers and senior Freemasons from across the county
