Promoting the Fraternity across the World
Over £168,000 awarded to local charities in PGL Somerset’s 250th celebration year!
The initiative, which is funded by the Freemasons, helps children to learn new skills, improve their self confidence and enjoy a new hobby.
The scheme is already being run in other parts of the country and it is now being set up across North Somerset and Somerset.
The campaign for the £2,000 equipment was launched by the patient participation group at Graham Road Surgery in 2015 when its then-chairman Alan Rice became aware of the lack of defibrillators in Weston.
