Essex Freemasons cycling 880 miles for Charity

Four member of Essex Freemasons, named collectively as Team Jogle, are taking on the 880 mile trek from John o’ Groats to Lands’ End.

Geoff Turpin, of Blackmore End, Adrian Deadman, of Colchester, Daniel Rosewell, of Southend, and Trevor Back, of Great Bentley, are all taking on the challenge in aid of the Freemasons’ Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Freemasons Garden Party raises £2,180 for Velindre Cancer Centre

On Sunday 9th July, Llantwit Major Lodge No. 9241 held a Summer Garden Party in aid of Velindre Cancer Center. The event took place at W.Bro Michael Thomas’s house and gardens in Rhoose and was well supported by family and friends of the lodge. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon in the sunshine with good food, drink and live musical entertainment that went on into the evening

Freemasons make £1,950 Charity Donation to Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Ceres Lodge of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Province have made a wonderful gift of £1,950 to Cynthia Spencer Hospice. Immediate Past Master of Ceres Lodge, Richard Cooke handed the donation to Hospice Fundraising Manager John Helm and Practice Development Lead Amanda Taylor at a White Table meeting at Freemason’s Hall last week, following a talk on the modern Hospice movement and Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
