The fundraising campaign was the joint effort of eight local districts and Masonicare, with the funds presented to Dr Matt Dun during a ceremony at Club Maitland City on Sunday.
Lodge donates to Loweswater suite at hospital
The League says patients and staff at the Horton General Hospital, Banbury will benefit from the cash donation by Castle Lodge, based in Banbury.
The money will be used for equipment to help staff and patient care at the Banbury hospital.
The group donated £2,200 to the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity for its Rory the Robot appeal, which is aiming to ensure all men in Worcester have the option to have their prostate cancer surgery via robot.
Each year, the money raised at the December meeting of Brigantes Lodge, which meets on Station Road in the town, is donated to a charity chosen by the wife of the Worshipful Master.
