Recently The Masonic Charitable Foundation gave a £2,000 grant to The Devon & Cornwall Food Action Association (Plymouth Branch); a charity reflecting the need to link food waste with food poverty, and they were visited by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire V. W. Bro. Nicholas Ball.
Kevin Shail of Gnosall St Lawrence Freemasons Lodge visited the Owl Experience Rescue Sanctuary, based at Red Lion Farm in Haughton, to hand over a cheque to owner Andrew Campbell.
Festival of Carols raises huge sum for local charities.
Ely Cathedral was full when Cambridgeshire Freemasons, in association with the Dean and Chapter together with sponsors, presented the sixth biennial Festival of Carols on 9 December 2016.
Minehead Masonic Hall was the venue for the Exmoor Lodge No 2390 Charity Presentation Evening on Thursday 15th December.Worshipful Master, Garry Holman, was delighted to be able to celebrate his successful year as Master by personally handing the donations from the Lodge to representatives of his chosen local charities.
Norfolk Freemasons from the Francis of Lorraine Lodge in Norwich handed out £6000 to 11 local charities, including the NNAB.
