Freemasons donate £4,340 to various Charities in the Lincoln Area.
Members of the eight Lincoln Lodges got together at the
Masonic Hall to present cheques totalling £4,340 to various Charities in the
Lincoln Area. The WM of Witham Lodge Chris Smith presented cheques to
Lincolnshire IA representative Pam Bradley and to Norry Bell of Hykeham
Sailability. Ermine Lodge WM Keith Jones presented a cheque to Ian Betts
for the 1st Lincoln Boys Brigade who had some of its members present
Elizabeth Coy, and Alex and Adam Coy. St Hugh Lodge WM Andy Ham presented
cheques to 3 Charities, the Lincoln Blind Society represented by Machaela
Ardley, to Paul Pyram of Lincolnshire IA and to Ruth O’Melia of St Barnabas.
Welton Kofukan Karate Club representative Tracey Armer and Oasis Project
organiser Christina Paul received cheques from Excalibur WM Dave Wicks. On
behalf of Paulinus Lodge, Peter Cook presented a cheque to Hugh Dutfield of the
Salvation Army and Walter Stothard presented another to Helen Stothard-Holland
of Lily’s Border Collie Lifeline. Ashlar Lodge Member Steve Harrison gave a
cheque to Veronica Wivell of Headway Lincolnshire. Lindum Lodge WM Martin
Huckle presented a cheque to LIVES represented by Nicky Silver and Simon Elday.
The National Association for Crohans & Colitis member Beverley Manson
received a cheque from the WM of Minster Lodge Nev Williams and Lodge member
Gordon Spurr gave a cheque to Neil Mellor of the 24th Lincoln
(Saxilby) Scout Group.

He was accompanied by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Excellent Companion Tony Greswell and the Provincial Scribe E, Excellent Companion Tony Miller.

Provincial Grand Lodge of Lincolnshire Clay Shoot At Dalby Hall
23 teams of 4 guns and individuals totalling over 100 entries from 10 Lodges took part in the competition with the host Lodge, Eccles, entering 7 teams. The sporting round of 50 clays over 5 stands proved challenging and enjoyable to all who took part. A practice stand and 2 have-a-go facilities were also available.
