Minnesota Freemasons donate $35 million to the University of Minnesota to establish first-of-its-kind institute devoted to brain development

The University of Minnesota has announced a $35 million gift from Minnesota Masonic Charities, an organization that is the University’s largest single donor. This contribution will establish and name the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, an interdisciplinary initiative focused on the early diagnosis, prevention and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders in early childhood and adolescence.

Freemasons give £1000 to help Mid Devon’s terminally ill patients

This year as part of their annual support of hospices throughout the country the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire W. Bro. Craig Cox presented a certificate denoting the £1000 given on behalf of the Devonshire Freemasons and the Masonic Charitable Foundation to Carey MacKenzie, Chris Webber and Julie Morris at Hospiscare’s Pine Lodge Day Hospice in Tiverton.

Freemasons Support Local Community with Rescue Packs for the Elderly

During times of such national fear and uncertainty it is fabulous to see communities come together to help each other and support those in need.

The Freemasons from the Crumlin Road Masonic Hall have purchased and arranged the distribution of toilet roll to be delivered to a total of 300 elderly people within the local area this weekend, with each receiving 8 rolls.

Freemasons make bicycle donations to School

William Perry II, past master Eddie Tosh and senior warden Jim Higgins pose with bicycles donated to Caldwell County primary and elementary schools. Clinton Lodge #82 donated 20 bikes this year to students as rewards for perfect attendance records. Efforts are part of a statewide program through the Grand Lodge of Kentucky to spur educational motivation in students.
