East Lancashire Freemasons boost for St Ann’s Hospice
The donations have been granted to the Parkinsons’ support group, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, Bourne 2 Care, Dyke village hall, Macmillan Cancer Support, a guide group and mental health charity Don’t Lose Hope.
A further £450,000 will be provided to individual hospices across England and Wales via Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care.
The Nene Valley Care Trust (NVCT) – which helps young people leaving care in Peterborough and the Nene Valley towards education, training, accommodation and jobs – has received a cheque for £2,000 from David Burton, on behalf of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Freemasons

The premises in Priory Place is now set to install a lift over the next couple of weeks, making the building accessible to all, following a £2,500 donation from the Magdalen Chapter of the Doncaster Freemasons
In the last 10 years Essex Freemasons have donated more than £17 million to various charitable causes making a difference to thousands of lives in every part of the county and with the launch of the new Community Fund, that commitment is expected to increase still further.
