Masons from Lilford Lodge visited the Hindley-based hospice to present the money, which was collected by all seven Masonic lodges in Leigh.
The annual golf day of St Martins Lodge, Birmingham was held at Shirley Golf Club. 20 members of the lodge played on the day and the Lodge Trophy was won by the current Master of the Lodge, Malcolm Francis. The competition for the Lodge Trophy has been played every year since 1948. W Bro Michael Gregory, the Lodge Treasurer won the Chapter Trophy.
Members of St Guthlac Masonic Lodge made the journey to RAF Wyton to visit the Magpas Air Ambulance Operations Base last week, after the charity was successfully nominated to receive a donation of £500 from the New Provincial Benevolent Fund of the Masonic Province of Lincolnshire.
Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th July 2016 saw the 158th Annual Great Yorkshire Show at the Harrogate Show ground.
For over 15 years Brethren from both The Province of West Riding and the Province of North & East Ridings, joined forces to fly the flag and spread the word to the Great British public.

Birnbeck Masons Lodge has raised more than £1,000 for Weston General Hospital, in memory of one of the group’s former members.
Long-serving Mike Braden was cared for in Weston General Hospital before he died earlier this year.
Heart of England Lodge 6549 have purchased and donated a £1,400 mobility scooter to Shopmobility in Touchwood, Solihull. The scooter has a Square and Compass sticker clearly visible saying “Donated by Members of Heart of England Lodge No.6549”. It was purchased via the Almoners charity account and was presented to Cathy Stoll, CEO Shopmobility on Tuesday 19th July 2016.
Mark Grand Lodge will be held on Tuesday, 13 September 2016 at Freemasons’ Hall in London and the summons and dining form are attached or can now be downloaded from www.glmmm.com.
The Bradelei Lodge 9205 were delighted to raise £625 at their Ladies night earlier this year. This amount was then donated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Derby.
The Rob Vine Fund has again been a grateful beneficiary of the Freemasons’ Air Ambulance Grand Charity fund.
Keith Dalrymple, on behalf of the Freemasons, presented a cheque for £4,000 to Dr David Stevens, one of the Rob Vine Fund directors.
