A presentation of £500 was made to the above by our last years WM, John Porter, to their representative Mr Ron Bishop on behalf of the Lodge of Faith and Unanimity No. 417. This was one of Bro John’s charities last year.

The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is a registered charity which receives no direct funding from the Government and, as most charities, depend on public donations. The helicopter serves both counties and I believe the cost of each callout is about £2000, so funds are used up as fast as they come in. Our contribution might keep them in the air for about 30 minutes? They need our support Brethren!
