Earl Carnarvon was born on June 24th, 1831 in London, England. He was educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford. He was given the nickname “Twitters” because he had a nervous tic and twitchy behavior.

WBro. Clem Spencer PPGPurs visited St Peters Lodge No. 1125 in Tiverton to deliver a defibrillator to them and was presented with a cheque for £2,000 for HeartSWell.

Royal Brunswick Lodge has been supporting FABLE over this last year and had raised £1000 to which it was able to add another £1500 from the Provincial Grand Master’s Fund to kick-start the project to provide epilepsy bed alarms to families where a child with sever epilepsy is affected by night-time seizures

Freemasonry historically acknowledges St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist as its patron saints, reveres their memory, points to their exemplary lives in its ritualistic work, and dedicates its Lodges to them.
HORSFORTH’s charity minibus is back on the road after the previous vehicle was stolen last year.
The bus, which is run entirely by volunteers, provides a vital service for mainly elderly people but also for community groups.
But the service was left unable to operate after the minibus was stolen last July.
Now, it is up and running again thanks to a donation of £2,500 from the West Riding Masonic Charity and an insurance payment.
It was an absolute pleasure for the Festival Director, the West Area Director and festival Secretary Paul Quinn to venture out West to Crook lodge to present their IPM Eddie Gibson with a festival achievement certificate to reward his efforts in raising over £500 on behalf of the Lodge for the festival

Beard was born on June 21st, 1850 in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a young man he spent his times wandering in the woods and making sketches of nature. He moved with his family to Covington, Kentucky. In Kentucky he learned the stories of the pioneer life there, information that would serve him well later in life.
