The Buckinghamshire Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), had a team of nine shooters attending the 12th National Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Championships held recently at Wedgnock Clay Shooting Ground, and hosted by The Province of Warwickshire.

The trustees of the Kent Masonic Museum & Library Trust would be pleased to hear from anyone that would like to help in our internationally recognised museum and library in Canterbury. You don’t need to be a Freemason and you can help in a variety of ways: front-of-house or behind the scenes where there is a wide range of things to be done from maintenance to IT to archiving.
No fewer than 37 charities received grants totalling more than £25,000 from Shropshire’s Freemasons at a special awards day on Monday, 20th June. Representatives from most of the charities were on hand to receive grants at a special reception and buffet lunch.

Twenty two Group 3 coordinators from the Almoner, Chapter, Charity Steward, Mentor and Media offices attended the morning seminar and found it extremely beneficial. Individual thoughts, feelings and experiences were shared and the way ahead was more clearly defined for the benefits of the both the Group and the Province.
Records of Royal Arch activity in England, in today’s Supreme Grand Chapter, start with the entry in the first minute book of the unnamed ‘Excellent Grand and Royal Chapter’. They are dated 22 March 1765 and show the first meeting to have been held at the mysterious and still unidentified Mr Inge’s premises, until the move to The Turk’s Head in Gerrard Street, Soho, London on 12 June of the same year. It took a further four years before Supreme Grand Chapter issued warrants establishing the first new Chapters under the jurisdiction of the Order.
A great night of ten-pin bowling and more was organised by The Iron Bridge lodge 9897 on 19th June and attended by many members as well as friends from other lodges. Prizes were awarded for highest individual score, lowest individual score (Andy’s not telling), and best lodge score (Round Table.lodge 9104). We are asked to point out that 9104 is their lodge number, not their score..
The Tiler at Cariboo Lodge #469 in Barkerville, British Columbia, Canada, required neither sword nor trowel to perform his job. Cariboo had a “Silent Tyler” that was designed to keep out “wild men and some equally wild women”.
The highly successful and inaugural South Central Area cheque presentation evening, was held at Southampton Masonic Centre, Albion Place, last night in support of Area Lodges donating a fantastic sum of £21,808.75 to 22 non-Masonic Charities and good causes, locally.
