Promoting the Fraternity across the World
Following a 50 Year Certificate presentation to E.Comp. Bryant Lightfoot of Chapter of St John, No. 327 in Wigton, a collection was made which raised £217 in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Swinton Charitable Trust makes grants to organisations, other charities or voluntary bodies and general charitable purposes. The trust reported their annual donations to non-Masonic charities for 2016 and the total sum donated was a magnificent £15,560.39.

The day was rounded off with prize giving of certificates and medals by the day’s sponsor and with a very slow reluctance to leave, the children departed on their coaches with beaming smiles and tales of river monsters (or was that our PGM?), their happy faces said it all.
Winterbourne villagers held their community day ‘clean up’ on Saturday 12th September 2015 and were helped by Members and their families including Jessican Maybey (in the wheelbarrow)
Two plenary presentations and ninteen round table sessions will allow a well rounded development of the theme. Each will be chaired by a different lodge of research. The topics of each conference and round table will be published subsequently. A participation fee will be asked for the plenaries and panels.
On the 15th July, Oxford University Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, No 55. are having a charity dinner at Boodle’s, which will benefit the Alzheimer’s Society.
