For the second time in the last twenty years Mark Masonry has undertaken to provide St Johns Ambulance Service with a number of fully equipped state of the art ambulances for use throughout the UK.
Eminent Freemason Thomas W. Jackson, meets leaders all over the world to see what contributions Freemasonry can make in their developing societies. The 82-year-old shows no signs of stopping, even though he says he is retired.
The avid fisherman and hunter said he’s been working for many years in trying to bring Brazilian Freemasonry together.
Entertainment was provided during dinner by Chris Till and his delightful set of swing music playing in the background. After the meal the usual Toasts were observed, the raffle was drawn and everyone was presented with a memento of the evening. The whole emphasis was on fun and enjoyment whilst observing the usual formalities.
On Tuesday, 18th July, Worshipful Brother Graham Simons, visited the Alzheimer Familiares Teulada-Moraira Association to deliver a much needed cheque for five hundred euros.
New St John Ambulance for Haverfordwest presented by West Wales Freemasons at Cathedral service.
A £56,000 grant from the Foundation has funded a new ambulance for the Haverfordwest Division of St John Cymru Wales.
Freemasons are keen to dispel the secrecy associated with the movement, and held a series of We’re Open events this week to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of Freemasonry in England and Wales.
On Sunday 9th July, Llantwit Major Lodge No. 9241 held a Summer Garden Party in aid of Velindre Cancer Center. The event took place at W.Bro Michael Thomas’s house and gardens in Rhoose and was well supported by family and friends of the lodge. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon in the sunshine with good food, drink and live musical entertainment that went on into the evening
EACH year the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Cornwall asks each of it’s 32-member lodges to submit grant applications for nominated local worthy causes.
The members of Sir Bevil Granville Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1231, which meets in Bude, nominated Bude Memory Café and were delighted that a grant of £250 was awarded.
FREEMASONS from the Bordon, Alton and Petersfield masonic centres held a charity-presentation evening in celebration of the 300th year of the United Grand Lodge of England.
The evening was held at the Bordon Masonic Centre, in Woolmer Way, on June 12 and, said organisers, was well attended by local charity and community representatives.
