Members of two Craft lodges South Cheshire 5571 and Crewe 5030 have made a substantially contributed to help St Andrews Scout Group, based in Crewe, purchase a new Standard which will be presented to them by the Bishop of Chester at a special Service on 25 September to commemorate 100 continuous years of Scouting.

It is the Provincial Grand Masters wish to foster good relations between our two organisations and the Lodges generous donation will help cement that association. A number of Lodge members are expected to attend the special presentation which will take place at St Andrew’s Church in Crewe, as well as WBro Mann APGM, the press and many excited young scouts.

WBro George Mann APGM thanked the members for their tremendous support towards the local community and in particular the Scout movement.
