Freemasons donate £300 to Whitehills Scout Group

A cheque for £500.00 was presented by W Bro. G Tuck of George Stephenson Lodge.An additional £100 was donated from a member of the public when he found out about the event and how Freemasons had helped the 1st Winlaton Scout Group so all together; £600.00 was raised for an excellent cause.
Just under £5000 was presented to the Ashworth Valley Scout Camp on Wednesday 22nd March 2017. The donation was to fund the fitting of a heating system in one of the camping buildings on the site

Scout group receives start-up grant from Louth Freemasons
Brother David Gambrel has been a Master Mason since 1984. During that time he has served twice as Master of both Lincoln Lodge No. 60 and Waynesburg Lodge No. 328. He has held every office in the local blue lodge with the exception of Treasurer and Junior Steward. He is currently Senior Warden of Lincoln No. 60 and will be Chaplain in 2016.
Members of two Craft lodges South Cheshire 5571 and Crewe 5030 have made a substantially contributed to help St Andrews Scout Group, based in Crewe, purchase a new Standard which will be presented to them by the Bishop of Chester at a special Service on 25 September to commemorate 100 continuous years of Scouting
