Bright sunshine marked the start of the fourth and final stage of the Tour yesterday. Fifteen members of the Dorset Masonic Bikers group accompanied the Banner to the last five venues thereby completing the challenge of escorting it to every Masonic building in the Province of Dorset, a magnificent achievement befitting this #Tercentenary celebration year.

Dementia UK recently received a grant of £90,000 to fund the role of a Director of Clinical Services who will lead the charity’s Admiral Nursing team.

The new role will lead on the charity’s strategic goal to gather and evaluate data on the Admiral Nurse service, demonstrating the value of these specialist dementia nurses who give families the emotional support, expert advice and practical solutions they need to face dementia with more confidence and less fear.

Seahouses and District Cancer Relief Fund has just received a cheque for the magnificent sum of £5,000 from the Freemasons of Northumberland, celebrating the tercentenary of the United Grand Lodge of England.

It was the thoughtfulness of the Farne Lodge in Seahouses that made it possible as it nominated this local charity to receive the gift.

100 years of service by identical twin brothers – Freemasons New Zealand

Whangarei to celebrate 100 years of service by identical twin brothers, Bruce and Bryan Wiig. Originally from Bluff, both men were initiated into Freemasonry on the 15th July 1967 in Lodge Fortitude No 64. Over the years they have both moved away with Bruce now living in Auckland with wife Carol and Bryan in Whangarei with wife Marie.

Cambridge Freemasons make £1,000 donation to Defibrillators For All

This is a Whittlesey based charity which has installed 35 public access defibrillators in Whittlesey and has provided awareness training sessions in all schools in the town. It is also running a screening program to detect young people at risk of sudden cardiac arrest.
