On Saturday the 21st May 2016 the first meeting of the Eliot Hall Saturday Morning Club took place at the Bell Hotel Winslow. Conceived during the Mentoring Conference held in Aylesbury earlier this year, a number of brethren from different Lodges which meet at The Eliot Hall, Winslow, had the idea of a Saturday Morning Club to help newer brethren, Lodge Mentors and experienced masons to get together and discuss various aspect of Freemasonry.
An important and potentially life-saving course was recently held at Marlow Masonic Centre.
Bro. Mark Harry, of Burke Lodge 6154, sponsored a training day through his company, Allied International Risk Limited, on CPR and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) which are now a common sight in and around our towns and villages.
At the invitation of the Sir Joseph Banks Daylight Lodge No 9828, the Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge No 9726 raised Bro Chris Turner to the third degree. Bro Chris Turner was initiated in the Daylight Lodge and passed to the second degree by Witham Lodge No 297, the mother Lodge to the Sir Joseph Banks Daylight Lodge.
