The Freemasons Elrona Lodge 384 which meets at the Greensborough Masonic Centre in Esther Street Greensborough, has once again supported Kalparrin with an exceedingly generous donation of $4000.
Lodge Prince of Wales, Renfrew No.426 was the venue for a unique ceremony on Saturday 11th June, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the opening of The Marcus Humphrey House.
When the Grand Orient of France chartered La Loge Française of Richmond, Virginia, in 1849, it became the first French speaking Lodge in the United States. Later that year on November 1, members of the Grand Lodge of Virginia and St. Johns Lodge #36 met with the brothers of La Loge Française in the first recognition of a “regular” or English Lodge and a “clandestine” or French Rite Lodge to take place in America.
Freemasons Victoria and the Freemasons Foundation are very proud to hand over a cheque for $750,000 to the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre.
On the 13th July three groups of children and young adults affected by various disabilities and with special educational needs enjoyed a fun day of cycling in Markeaton Park, Derby, organised and funded by the Provincial Grand Charity.
A cheque was presented on Wednesday 13th July 2016 by WBro John Waddington of Royal Edward Lodge No 1088, from the Area 4 community grant scheme, to match funds raised by the lodge. John informed us that several lodges from Dukinfield had contributed, which financially assisted the scouts to travel to Blackpool, enabling them to join their 100th year celebrations.

Yateley Lodge No. 9107 have recently been able to provide a valuable donation to the Action Bladder Cancer Charity. W.Bro. Steve Saunders during his year as Worshipful Master of the Lodge was committed to providing assistance to this important charity.

An application was made by The Lodge of Industry No 6579 to fund the purchase of a specially adapted mini bus to transport equipment, dogs, wheelchairs and clients.
