Freemasons donate Defibrillator for Morpeth town centre
Those who need to use it in an emergency situation need to dial 999 so they can get the key code to open the cabinet containing the defibrillator. They will also receive instructions on how to use it
Freemasons of Yorkshire donate £5,000 to Steam Railway
Local Freemasons from Fairfax Lodge in Guiseley, supported by both Craven and Mawsis Lodges in Skipton, applied for the grant, which was awarded through West Riding Masonic Charities and will be used for the railway’s Platform 2/3 project.
Bolton Abbey Station has close connections with both towns. The preserved steam railway was originally constructed in 1888 as the Skipton and Ilkley Railway and the line continued to Leeds via Guiseley.

RW Bro Michael Wilks. Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Hampshire & Isle of Wight privilege recently handed over a cheque for £22,000, to the Tall Ships Youth Trust Formerly The Sail Training Association on behalf of the Masonic Charity Foundation.

It was one of those light bulb moments that Woolton Group Vice Chairman Mike Cunliffe had a thought. All around the country Freemasons have been celebrating the tercentenary with a multitude of events from church services, black tie dinners and social occasions and Mike thought it would be a good idea if we shared our pleasure with members of the local community.
Buckinghamshire Freemasons help Cippenham School visit Whipsnade Zoo.
Year 6 pupils from Cippenham School, in Slough, recently enjoyed an end of term day out at Whipsnade Zoo thanks to Buckinghamshire Freemasons.
Members of the Old Paludians Lodge, a former Grammar School Lodge which meets at the Slough Masonic Centre, wanted to send the children on a great day out but at £3,000 it was a big ask to fund the whole trip.
Freemasons of Milton Keynes support Young Carers
St Martin’s Lodge, 2812, from Bletchley, recently held their annual fun day for the Milton Keynes Young Carers, giving them a much needed day off from their busy life and duties. Held at the Herons Lodge Centre in Great Holm over 150 people attended and had an afternoon of live music, barbecue, drinks, animal petting zoo, bingo and bouncy castles.
Lowestoft Freemasons present volunteer lifeguards with new rescue craft
At a ceremony on Sunday, July 16, the Freemasons of Orient Lodge presented a dedicated rescue ski entitled ‘The Boy Ian’, named in memory of former Master of The Lodge, Ian Paterson.
