Mirfield Freemasons Host Charity Presentation Evening Representatives from seven West Yorkshire charities have attended a presentation evening hosted by Mirfield Freemasons to receive financial donations of more than £13,000.

On Saturday, 25th March a Strawberry Fayre was held at The International Club in El Campello and the Lodge Committee gave a lot of their time freely and voluntarily in full support of this needy cause. The idea was that everything for the Fayre had to be based on the theme of strawberries and those who contributed showed a great deal of initiative in the wide range of goodies they prepared, from strawberry pavlova, strawberry cakes, strawberry tarts, strawberry jam to strawberry and meringue skewers for the chocolate fountain. (Why wasn’t I invited?) 🙂

The Santa Faz Masonic Lodge No 48 celebrated Valentine’s Day with a Lunch Party in which fifty-five people enjoyed an excellent meal at the Restaurant Mash in El Campello. Everyone was asked to wear something red and visible to celebrate this very special day.
Daventry Freemasons Support Breast Cancer Charity
During his year as the Worshipful Master of Coritani Lodge – one of the five Masonic Lodges which meet in Daventry – WBro Max Reynolds held a number of social and sporting events to raise funds in support of several national and local charities which are close to his family’s heart. One such charity is Breast Cancer Care.
Freemasons donate to Age Concern in Torrevieja
In May of last year Masons from the Caledonia Lodge number 68 presented a cheque for EUR2000 to the Age Concern Centre, Costa Blanca Sur in Torrevieja to go towards the purchase of a new bus, to assist in transporting elderly, local citizens.
