Pembrokeshire College degree student, Andrew Davies has been awarded £1,500 by the West Wales Freemasons to help further his education as part of the annual Colin O’Dare Masonic Bursary.

Employed by Tai West Wales Housing, Andrew embarked on the FdSc Construction Management course in September 2014 and recently graduated at Pembrokeshire College’s prestigious ceremony held at St. David’s Cathedral. Delighted to not only be presented with a cheque from the Freemasons, Andrew was also thrilled to win Student of the Year,

“I’ve ended my time at College on a high winning an award on top of my qualification and receiving the very generous bursary. The money will go towards the cost of my final two-year top-up degree and will be a massive help.”

Provincial Grand Master of the West Wales Freemasons, Stephen Hookey congratulated Andrew on his achievements, wishing him luck in completing his further studies and future career.

College Lecturer, Antony Davies said,

“Andrew is a thoughtful and intelligent student. He has applied himself fully to his studies and will be an asset to any Construction management team.”
