Vespasian Lodge celebrates their 50th anniversary – Dorset Freemasonry

This week Vespasian Lodge celebrated their 50th anniversary with friends and partners invited along to enjoy the experience and the sumptuous festive board! It was a really well supported and fun evening talking over memories from times past and plans for the future of the Lodge.

The Lodge was consecrated by the then Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Dr. K.B. Clarke, assisted by his team of Officers, on 19th May 1966 at Branksome Masonic Hall. Much time had been devoted to choosing the name for the Lodge, which is derived from the Roman Emperor of that name who had strong links with Dorset.

In the images attached you’ll see the festive board decorated and looking very smart, Worshipful Master Les Popperwell addressing everyone and thanking the guests for helping celebrate such a landmark event.
