The New 500 Club will be giving £1,600.00 to the winners and £1,600.00 to local London Charities.

The 500 Club has been giving away great cash prizes and since 1999 and provides London Mark and R.A.M. Lodges, individual Brethren and their families with the opportunity to win cash prizes: while at the same time generating donations for our Charities. 50% of the contributions go to Charity and 50% is handed back to subscribers at the Annual Prize Draw.

This year’s draw took place last Thursday 2nd June at the meeting of the London Mark Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge 1870 where a total of seven prizes were won, ranging from £500 to £50. The Club was also delighted to be able to match the prizes with charitable donations of £400 to each of our four nominated local charities;

Lifelites provides specialist entertainment, educational and assistive technology packages to children

Hackney City Farm is a community and educational resource and to give the people, particularly young people experience of animals.

St Johns Community Development Project, based in Clapham, serves the local community by providing a wide range of activities and events every week for senior citizens.

The Camden Town Shed is a club offering a workspace where older people can work on practical projects or follow hobbies with others.

The winners have all been informed and will be presented with their cheques at the banquet following the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting on Thursday 14th July.

This year saw an increase in the number of participant but there are still some numbers available so on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master thank you to all those who participated in this year’s draw and hopefully we will see more joiners for next year’s draw to make it even more exciting. Membership can be either for an individual or in a Lodge’s name, and is open to both London Mark and RAM lodges. A Club Information Form, Charities supported, Standing Order Form and a Club Flyer can all be downloaded from the top left hand corner under ALSO SEE.
