On a tremendous afternoon Monmouthshire Freemasons paid a visit to St David’s hospice, who have built fantastic facilities for their very important work. A presentation was made of a donation of £10,000.
Since 1984, the Freemasons have donated nearly £12 million towards the operating costs of hospice services across England and Wales.
Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.
St David’s Hospice provides 24 hour care, 365 days a year through their clinical service including emotional, physical and spiritual support. The Day Care Unit provide patient care, bereavement and counselling services, and the 14 bed Inpatient Unit offers symptom control, respite and end of life care.
