On Tuesday 16th January 2018, a presentation of a cheque was made to the Medway Food Bank at their premises on Rochester City Estate by members of the Manor of Gillingham Lodge No 3983 (Wigmore). The money was raised within the lodge and topped-up by match-funding from the Province of East Kent Cornwallis Charity Fund.

Andy McLeod, Lodge Charity Steward, said:

“Our lodge is keen to help less-fortunate members of society within the Medway area, and this donation is totally in keeping with that philosophy”.
