Warrington Group Chairman Andy Barton was delighted to present two cheques totalling £2,150 to Rachel Ingham, a fundraising officer from St Rocco’s Hospice. Of the total donated, £1,900 was on behalf the Masonic Charitable Foundation and £250 was on behalf of Warrington Lodge of Concord No 1250. Andy was delighted to present the cheques and thanked all the staff for the wonderful work they undertake.

Rachel was very pleased to receive them on behalf of St Rocco’s and thanked Andy, saying that the Masons have contributed many times in the past and that the donations help considerably with the care work that is undertaken.

St Rocco’s provides care and support for those living with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers. Being a registered charity, they are very much dependent on the support of the local community. However, it does rely heavily on charity work and donations, which are essential to its continued success.

St Rocco’s is a local hospice and is a shining example of the work undertaken by the hospice movement, which offers a first-class service in the Warrington district.
