Freemasons Donate £1000 to Haven Hospice

At the Haven Hospice in Runcorn  on 16th June 2015 EComp Ken Mallon, APGP presented a Match Funding cheque for £10,000 be used to provide a Lynas Foster Double Bed for one of four larger rooms. It had been the case, that in the past, long Married couples could not be accommodated without splitting them up and putting them in different rooms or even other Homes / Hospices. Ken said “we are pleased that the money raised by Freemasons Lodges and Chapters is used in such a wonderful way, enabling couples who may have been together for 40, 50 or more years to stay together in their end of life care”
