Essex Freemasons hold a Teddies Bear Picnic

MORE than 100 children and their faithful teddy bears attended possibly Essex’s biggest ever teddy bears picnic.

The event, organised by Essex Freemasons, took placeat Stisted Hall and was a celebration of the group’s Teddies for Loving Care charity.

Elliott Chavin, one of the organisers, said: “It was very successful, we thought we would get a small gathering but we were blown away by how many attended.

“It could be the county’s biggest ever teddy bears picnic.”
