Derbyshire Freemasons Help Long Eaton and District Friendly Invalid Club visit the Seaside

On Sunday July 3rd the Long Eaton and District Friendly Invalid Club were treated to a day out at Skegness, their chosen destination, by the Derbyshire Freemasons Provincial Grand Charity.

After receiving a written application last November from club Secretary Mrs Marion Drage, inquiring if any financial support towards the cost of the hire of two coaches to transport their members on their annual outing was at all possible, the Derbyshire Freemasons decided to go one better.

The Provincial Grand Charity not only coordinated the transport logistics, paid the total coach hire charges but to the great appreciation of all who went on the trip somehow managed to arrange the weather.
